Nigels you are right the UK is like a ship leaving Europe and sailing towards an unknown future.
But unlike Sir Winston Churchill who was a great prime minister during War II, Boris Johnson is a petty politician who in period of peace will offer his people blood, toil, tears and sweat ...

Charles p. How very true my friend. Unfortunately the United Kingdom is now governed by a bunch of retarded fuckwits intent on creating a friendless, isolated island with a devastated economy on the periphery of Europe - for what??

Sad story Nigels.
We Europeans must remember the sacrifices of these Royal Air Force pilots who with their courage, their fighting spirit and their Spitfires have prevented Great Britain from falling and totalitarianism reigning over present-day Europe. Eternal gratitude.

Charles p - Very true words. A relative of my wife's, Eric Lock DSO, DFC and bar was the highest scoring British Ace in the Battle of Britain with 21 confirmed kills. He was shot down by flak over the coast of France on 3rd August 1941 and no trace was found. A ruddy awful waste.

Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.
