Thank you Jürgen for the photo and the link. I can understand your reaction to the "image" that some people, men or women, may have about women. Yes we must ask ourselves the question of being human if our actions can be degrading for the rest of humanity, for women and for men as well and as image makers, if the artistic interpretations we want to pass in our photos can be understood artistically or not ... And for me if it is not the case I do not press the trigger.
Thank you for reminding us that barbarism against women and men as well has existed on a continent called Europe and that we have the responsability to be vigilant because "the belly is still fertile from which the foul beast sprang".

Der Schoß ist fruchtbar noch, aus dem das kroch.

About this Polaroid® from tripleZone
Title :
Ravensbrück concentration camp for woman
Description :
As a German citizen I belong to the nation of the greatest humanity criminals in the history of mankind. Today I allow myself to post a 'subtle' contribution - rather modestly in terms of photography. I do so in order to explain why I am reserved for certain expressions, especially of woman.

The picture shows the main building - the 'Kommandantur' - of women's concentration camp Ravensbrück. This KZ is located 90 km north of Berlin and 'housed' between 1939 and 1945 about 130,000 female, mostly political prisoners from Poland, Russia, France and the Netherlands as well as Jewish women from all over Europe. About 50,000 of them perished, some 2,200 were killed in the gas chambers and 15,000 survived until liberation.

The history of the treating of women is full of oppression, violence and exploitation in every way. For this I leave the picture to your associations and imagination ... and maybe to subtle and unconscious fantasies too. For 'realistic' impressions of this Konzentrationslager I add a link. As you can see, there was also a rail in the concentration camp.
