We want to use GL10 in our photobooth. Could you tell me please if it is possible add some modifications with tray in order to use more than 10 pictures in a raw?

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't try to do so. there is little space. and, each pack of 10 comes with a cleaning and calibrating sheet which goes through the mechanics first. the printer needs these sheets for good results. so I just wouldn't mess it up.

But if we will use this calibrating sheet between each 10 pack? Is it possible?
Maybe there can be another decisions for printing more than 10 pictures in a row? We really need to use it in a photokiosk, so it is not possible to add new pack each time.
Could you please also recommend us another instant printer for our photobooth/kiosk? Or any specialist who can construct such working modification for us.

Thanks.

these polaroid printers are mainly made for home fun. I don't think that you will be happy with them when you use them in your business even if you find someone to modify them.

what you might be looking for is perhaps something like this http://www.photomart.co.uk/Catalogue/Dy ... ER-OP900II

there are others on the market. but this forum is mainly for old style instant photography, so we might not be able to give you good advice.

please have a look at inkjet printers as well, there are wonderful photo printers from all the big printer companies. the inks have improved a lot, if you use original inks they don't fade more than ordinary photos any longer. take the price for their special photo paper into account, results are best with each company's own paper.

good luck!

The DNP dye sub printers seem to becoming the industry standard but they are quite pricey and available at B&H if you are in USA. Another thought on the GL10 would be to get two printers and swap them after 10 prints. Your kiosk would still need to be attended but the customers would not have to wait as long when you switch the printers.

We have considered DNP printer for our booth/kiosk, but it can not print with a size 3x4" and thats is the main problem. Thats why we are looking now for an instant printer. Also we were thinking about to add 2 printers in one kiosk but if we would not make some modifications with a tray it will not suite for us — we dont have a person who will be near kiosk every hour for changing packs of prints.
Regarding to inkjet printers — the same problem — resources, if there will be more than 100 prints per day, we will need a person which will be near kiosk every several hours.

Maybe it is possible to find an engineer for constructing custom instant printer?
