New to instant photography and in need of advice

Hi everyone.
I have introduced myself recently and then sought advice on which camera to buy. So I decided tyu buy a Polaroid Supercolor 635 CL which arrived today.
The camera has its original frog tongue from 1993. Is that frog tongue compatible with the new Polaroid Originals 600 film or do I need to replace it with a Polaroid Originals frog tongue?
I'm totally new to instant photography and still trying to learn before starting to take photos (the film has yet to arrive)
The camera's manual advises using 600 Plus film but I can't find it. It seems it's not even listed on this site. What's the difference between 600 and 600 Plus?
I know it's advised to keep the film in the fridge until one hour before use. But my fridge drips a little. Is it ok to keep the film in a hermetic container (i.e. Tupperware) in the fridge?
Is this Polaroid Camera Bag enough to keep the camera (with film inserted) safe from heat at the beach?
Do I need to cover the picture right away from artificial light when shooting at night?
How much should I wait before scanning the picture?
I think I have more questions, but I can't remember now. Sorry for the lengthy post and thanks in advance for your help.
