[Repair] Supercolor 1000

Postby Ruben » Tue 15 July 2014 / 12:31 pm

Hi all,
I m a kinda stuck with repairing my Polaroid Land Camera Supercolor 1000 and I ll tell you my problem.

I first inserted my film pack (from out the refrigerator as suggested in the manual , Impossible SX-70 Color) and the black side was rejected.

I wanted to make a picture and the shutter didn't close , it stayed open.
Result a beige picture.

After I opened my camera and tried to fix it , I inserted the black sheet into the pack and tried to make another picture without closing the front side of the camera. This time the shutter works and ejected a picture. After waiting a time I see that I have a black picture with some light leaks (see my gallery).

I now closed my camera and inserted the used pictures and black sheet in the pack again.

Now my problem is :
If I insert the package the first picture gets ejected but he doesn't want to "click" when I take another picture.

I also got a small piece of see-through plastic that came out of the camera and I have no idea where it came from and if it is important to get it back.

So any ideas ?

I like your attitude!
Go, grab yourself an repair manual. The most defects are represented there and how to fix them.
Try this page!
Good luck! :super:
