Flashbar question

On my sx-70 I have to put the lighten/darken wheel all the way to dark to get a good picture in the sun due to the light sensor being degraded. I ordered a flashbar to be able to take pictures inside, my question is where should I put the lighten/darken wheel when using it?

Oh gotcha. I wonder why the price drop then, not that I'm complaining.

Polaroid making film again

https://us.polaroidoriginals.com It seems polaroid has started making film again! I like the price drop to $18.99, but I wonder why they still only have 8 photos per pack. I also wonder if it will be like the old polaroids that you shake to develop, or if it will be the same as the impossible film t...

I thought polaroid was out of business

I thought they closed down, but while in Walmart I saw the Polaroid snap touch (which looks pretty cool by the way, even though I don't like digital) so I'm wondering if they're still making cameras and film or is somebody else making these and just putting the Polaroid name on it?

Why are my photos so overexposed?

I finally got my camera completely restored mechanically and looking great, just to find out that something is still wrong with it. I've ran a full pack of color film through it and they all came out overexposed/very white. Then I loaded a B&W pack and took two pictures so far and they are doing...

Well I went ahead and bought it, and I'm very pleased with it. It's pretty thin and flexible, and it doesn't seem much thicker than the original leather. I was worried about the top viewfinder section because it's curved, but it stuck down in the corners nicely. I've only done the top so far because...

Cleaning sx-70 lenses

I have the first model of sx-70's, the one with no numbers only dashes on the focus ring, but it does have the split prism, and I'm going to have the bottom panel off to replace the film door latch. My question is, what is the best way to clean all the lenses while it's apart? It looks pretty clear ...

Wow those look great! I'd love to make my own but I'm not very good at making something that looks nice.

Experience with replacement skin from eBay

If you've used the replacement skin sets off eBay, how well did it fit compared to the original, and how much thicker (raised up) was it? The one I'd like to get claims it's made of real wood, has anyone else bought this one? http://m.ebay.com/itm/Polaroid-SX-70-Silver-Body-Cherry-Wood-Replacement-C...

The good ones and bad ones were mixed together. It was something like 3 bad ones, 1 good, 2 bad, 2 good

Problem with impossible color film

So I used impossible color film for the first time, and 5 out of the 8 pictures were damaged as soon as they came out of the camera. I did keep this box of film in the refrigerator for a few weeks before I used it. Any idea what caused this?
